Buffing Recommendations for Best Results:

• Use the appropriate compound for the metal being polished.
• Polishing may require 2-3 steps to achieve optimal results.
• Ensure parts are smooth and clean by using the proper abrasive to remove lines and scratches.
• Avoid mixing compounds on the same buff. If necessary, clean the buff with a buff rake to remove hardened residue.
• Dedicate separate buffs for different metals, such as Gold, Silver, and Brass.
• Keep buffing wheels clean and dressed with a buff rake.
• Allow the buff and compound to do the work—avoid using excessive force, which can damage the finish.
• For Platinum, always use a separate buff that hasn’t been used for other metals.
