Our VC series systems offer a wide range of capacities, from small to very large, and include both semi-automatic and fully automatic casting solutions. Sophisticated functional details are designed to optimize each casting according to its specific properties.
Separate locking systems for “overlapping” casting
Efficient Overlapping Pouring with Separate Locking Systems
All Indutherm VC systems feature separate locking mechanisms for the melting and cuvette chambers, allowing for significant time savings through "overlapping" pouring. While the cuvette stays in the vacuum chamber for a few minutes after pouring, the next batch can be filled and heated simultaneously.
Pneumatic bell lock and automatic locking system
All VC systems utilize a pneumatic system to seal the melting chambers. Additionally, the VC 650 V and VC 680 V models feature an automatic locking system for enhanced convenience and safety.
Automatic cuvette and chamber lift
To facilitate swiveling in the vacuum chamber, the inserted cuvette is automatically lowered and docked. Upon opening the chamber, the cuvette is raised for easy removal. This design allows the use of cost-effective cuvettes without the need for a flange.
Program control for fast and certified productions
The control panel, equipped with a full-text LCD display, makes setting all programs and parameters straightforward and practical. Semi-automatic systems feature temperature programs, while fully automatic systems offer a comprehensive program control system with all parameters included.
With up to 100 casting programs, these systems ensure efficient operation and consistent casting results. Parameters for key alloys—such as AGS, Alpha Plus, Heraeus, Legor, and Pandora alloys—are pre-programmed. This means reliable casting results can be achieved from the first cuvette, eliminating the need for costly preliminary tests. Additionally, the program control and built-in data printer provide high security and precise process documentation.

Controlling the pressure conditions – important for the perfect casting result
Automatic vacuum and overpressure in the melting and cuvette chambers
The vacuum in the melting chamber ensures that the metal is degassed and prevents unwanted oxidation during melting, which is crucial for copper-containing alloys that require an oxygen-poor environment. In the cuvette chamber, the vacuum enhances mold filling, particularly for delicate parts, and eliminates troublesome air pockets. Additionally, the system can switch to overpressure in the melting chamber to increase the pressure difference, further improving the casting process
Oxidation reduction after casting
This special system eliminates the risk of oxidation while the cuvette cools.
Turbulence reduction software
The Turbulence Reduction Software (TRS) ensures a faster and more consistent metal flow, enhancing mold filling and reducing the risk of plaster mold fragments breaking off at critical points and becoming trapped in the casting.
The Turbo Pressure function is designed to optimize the casting of very small and delicate objects, ensuring flawless results for jewelry with stones. It achieves a precisely defined and extremely rapid pressure build-up during pouring. In all program-controlled VC models, Turbo Pressure is automatically activated with precise timing according to the program. The Turbo Pressure PLUS system further enhances this capability by allowing for even higher and faster pressure build-up.
HSC – High Speed Casting
The High-Speed Casting (HSC) system enhances mold filling and improves surface quality, particularly for small parts and those with large, smooth surfaces. It also enables the casting of processed colored stones at lower temperatures, ensuring optimal results
Precise temperature control
Dual temperature control
Temperature measurement in both the crucible wall and the crucible center (integrated into the closure rod) ensures precise adherence to the preselected temperature range, maintaining optimal conditions for casting.
Cuvette temperature measurement
Previously, cuvettes with incorrect or varying temperatures posed a safety risk, particularly when casting very small or delicate parts where precise temperature control is crucial. The new feature, standard in VC 650 V and VC 680 V models, allows for accurate measurement of cuvette temperature with a precision of one degree, significantly improving safety and reliability
Vibration technology for better casting results
