Its high-visibility red finish allows for easy inspection of fine features and surface quality before the casting process begins.

Unmatched Dimensional and Thermal Stability

Achieving a perfect fit is critical in high-end manufacturing. WaxJet Red features a low 1.10% volumetric shrinkage and a 0.70% linear shrinkage. When coordinated with the WaxJet’s configuration of shrinkage compensation parameters, this material ensures a dimensional accuracy controlled within ±0.04mm per 20mm. Furthermore, with an ultra-low ash content of less than 0.01%, it guarantees a clean, residue-free burnout, preventing defects and ensuring the highest quality metal finish.

Streamlined Hands-Free Post-Processing

Post-processing is simplified and safer for delicate models through the use of 100% pure wax support material. The support structures are completely soluble in a mixed solvent of anhydrous alcohol, isopropanol, and PPG400 at 43°C. This hands-free removal process eliminates the risk of mechanical damage to fragile geometries, allowing for complex, interlocking designs that would be impossible to clean manually.

Technical Specifications

A dedicated part wax material delivered in 1.5 kg bottles. It features a liquid density of 0.76g/cm³ at 95°C, a melting point of 68°C, and a softening point of 63°C. With a needle penetration hardness of 9w, the material provides the necessary flexibility and durability for handling. When stored unopened at room temperature, it maintains a shelf life of approximately 5 years, while its service life after opening is approximately 20 days.
