Indutherm VC 12000 HTC: Industrial High-Temperature Casting
The VC 12000 HTC is the industrial powerhouse of the Indutherm lineup, engineered for large-scale production where extreme thermal performance and high-volume capacity are non-negotiable. Designed for heavy-duty industrial parts and mass-scale casting, this unit combines the precision of a vacuum-pressure system with massive throughput capabilities.
Extreme Industrial Capacity
The "HTC" designation signifies High Temperature Control, allowing for indirect inductive heating up to an industry-leading 1850°C. This model is built for the most demanding casting environments:
- 90 kg Melt Capacity: Massive 12–14 liter crucible handles 90 kg of Steel or Copper (30 kg Aluminum) per melt.
- Oversized Flasks: Accommodates massive molds up to ø 600 mm and 800 mm in height.
- High-Power Delivery: Driven by a 40–60 kW generator to ensure rapid melting cycles even at full industrial scale.
Advanced Process Control
Despite its massive scale, the VC 12000 HTC ensures the same precision as small-scale laboratory units:
- Sweep Mode Vibration: Standard variable frequency vibration ensures high-density results and superior mold filling for complex parts.
- 100 Program Memory: Store and recall complex casting recipes for consistent, repeatable industrial batches.
- Vacuum & Pressure Logic: Eliminates oxidation and ensures flawless surfaces on large-scale industrial components.
- Optical Pyrometer: High-accuracy thermal monitoring ensures the melt is held at the perfect temperature before the pour.
Precision, Flexibility, and Efficiency Combined
The VC 12000 HTC enables pore-free and homogeneous castings even for the most complex forms. The metal is melted via induction heating in the melting chamber and then transferred to the vacuumed mold chamber under pressure. The operation principle allows the melting and mold chambers to be managed independently, making "overlapping production" possible. While one flask cools, the next melting cycle can already begin—saving time and boosting industrial productivity.
