The Right Machine for Every Application
Our VC series systems offer a versatile range of capacities, from compact units to industrial-scale installations. This series includes both semi-automatic and fully automatic casting solutions, featuring sophisticated functional details designed to optimize every casting based on its specific metallurgical properties.
Efficient Casting Workflow
Overlapping Pouring with Separate Locking Systems
All Indutherm VC systems are equipped with separate locking mechanisms for the melting and cuvette chambers. This allows for "overlapping" production: while a finished cuvette remains in the vacuum chamber to cool for a few minutes, the next batch can be filled and heated simultaneously, significantly increasing hourly throughput.
Pneumatic and Automatic Locking
The melting chambers are sealed via a high-performance pneumatic system. For users seeking maximum convenience and safety, the VC 650 V and VC 680 V models feature a fully automatic locking system.
Automatic Cuvette and Chamber Lift
To streamline the workflow, the cuvette is automatically lowered and docked to facilitate swiveling within the vacuum chamber. Upon completion, the system raises the cuvette for easy removal. This specialized design allows the use of cost-effective cuvettes without flanges.
Precision Program Control
The integrated control panel features a full-text LCD display for intuitive parameter management. These systems ensure consistent, certified production results through:
- Extensive Library: Save up to 100 individual casting programs.
- Pre-Programmed Excellence: Optimized parameters for major alloys (AGS, Alpha Plus, Heraeus, Legor, and Pandora) are included.
- Reliability: Achieve perfect results from the very first cuvette, eliminating the need for expensive preliminary testing.
- Documentation: Built-in data printers provide precise process documentation for quality assurance.
Advanced Pressure & Atmosphere Management
Controlling pressure conditions is the foundation of a perfect casting. The VC series provides:
- Vacuum Control: Degasses metal in the melting chamber to prevent oxidation (essential for copper-containing alloys) and enhances mold filling in the cuvette chamber.
- Overpressure Capability: Increases the pressure differential to ensure even the most delicate details are captured.
- Oxidation Reduction: A specialized system protects the cuvette from oxidation during the critical cooling phase.
- Turbulence Reduction Software (TRS): Ensures a consistent metal flow, reducing the risk of mold fragments breaking off and becoming trapped in the casting.
Turbo Pressure & Turbo Pressure PLUS
Designed for small, intricate objects and jewelry with stones, the Turbo Pressure function creates a rapid, precisely timed pressure build-up during pouring. The PLUS version offers even higher speeds for extreme casting requirements.
High-Speed Casting (HSC) & Temperature Precision
The HSC system improves surface quality and mold filling, particularly for smooth surfaces and small parts. It also allows for casting processed colored stones at lower temperatures to protect their integrity.
Dual Temperature Control
Precision is maintained by measuring temperatures in both the crucible wall and the crucible center (integrated into the closure rod).
Cuvette Temperature Measurement
Standard on the VC 650 V and VC 680 V, this feature measures cuvette temperature with a precision of 1°C, providing a massive safety boost when casting delicate parts.
Integrated Vibration Technology
The Indutherm vibration system fundamentally improves the physical properties of the cast.
