The Indutherm VC 400 series offers a range of semi-automatic vacuum casting machines designed to cater to a wide variety of capacities, from small to very large. Whether you require semi-automatic or fully automatic performance, these systems feature sophisticated functional details designed to optimize each casting for its specific properties, ensuring a "right machine for every application" approach.


Advanced Process Control

  • Separate Locking Systems: Features separate locking mechanisms for the melting and cuvette chambers. This allows for "overlapping" production: while one cuvette cools in the vacuum, the next batch can be heated simultaneously, saving significant production time.
  • Pneumatic & Automatic Locking: All VC 400 chambers are sealed with a pneumatic system, while high-end models (VC 650 V and VC 680 V) include a fully automatic locking system.
  • Automatic Lift System: The cuvette is automatically docked and lowered. This ergonomic design supports the use of economical cuvettes without a flange and simplifies removal.
  • Certified Program Control: An intuitive LCD display allows management of up to 100 casting programs.

TRS Technology Turbulence Reduction Software ensures consistent metal flow and prevents mold breakage.

Vibration & Thermal Precision

The integrated Indutherm vibration system and high-speed casting (HSC) technology set these machines apart by improving the physical properties of the metal.

  • Vibration Technology: Improves material flow and density while reducing porosity. This results in grain sizes up to 50.0% smaller and significantly reduces the risk of hot cracks.
  • HSC (High Speed Casting): Improves surface quality on large, smooth surfaces and allows for casting stones at lower temperatures.
  • Dual Temperature Control: Simultaneous measurement in the crucible wall and center (closure rod) ensures strict adherence to temperatures.
  • Cuvette Temperature Measurement: Standard in VC 650 V and VC 680 V, allowing for accuracy within 1.0 degree for maximum safety.
