Plasticast investment is engineered for the demanding expansion of plastic, wax/plastic, and rapid-prototype pattern materials up to 1400°F (760°C). Its extra-high strength and controlled expansion help maintain mold surface quality and dimensional integrity throughout burnout and casting. Plasticast also produces smoother, cleaner casting surfaces than standard investments and is designed for easy removal in water.
